Term 4: Through the Lens of Our Landscape (Kids aged 5-11):

This term, our young artists will journey through the world of traditional watercolour and landscape masters, exploring the delicate beauty of watercolour painting alongside botanical-inspired clay work.

Each week builds skills and confidence, leading to a framed landscape artwork and a hand-built clay piece, finished with firing and glazing. Students will even design their own artist label to accompany their work—bringing the full gallery experience to life.

Weekly Highlights:

🎨 Watercolour Landscapes – Learn brush techniques, layering, and blending to capture Australia’s unique scenery.

🌿 Botanical Clay Creations – Hand-build with bisque clay, adding textures inspired by plants and nature.

🖼️ Framing & Label Design – Create your own exhibition-ready artist label and prepare your masterpiece for display.

Exhibition Opportunity!

In January, every student will have the chance to proudly exhibit (and even sell!) their artworks at the Treasure Tribe gallery. With two age categories and a People’s Choice Award, this is an exciting opportunity to step into the full creative process—from inspiration to exhibition.

Program Details:

📅 Dates: October 17th – December 5th

🕓 Time: Fridays | 4:00 pm – 5:00 pm

💰 Cost: $240 for 8 week term (all art materials, framing & glazing included)

• Enrolment is for the full 8-week term. By booking, you are committing to the entire program and the full term fee of $265.

• No credits, transfers, or refunds are available for missed classes or early withdrawal.

• All materials are purchased and prepared in advance for the term, based on enrolment numbers.

• If your child is unable to attend a class, we will do our best to provide a brief catch-up activity or summary the following week, but we cannot offer replacement classes.

• In the unlikely event Art Escape needs to cancel a class, a make-up class will be offered or a credit applied.
